With sustainability in mind and hopes to have a world free of animal cruelty and the use of animal byproduct, AWARE by PRANA was created by hairstylist and educator Rebecca Oazem Schumer. Born and raised in Brazil, Rebecca has always been drawn to her motherland's rich fauna and flora, combined with her passion for holistic hairstyling, it only made sense to bring some of Amazon’s richest ingredients into her products to create a high-performance hair care, spa, and home lines.
AWARE by PRANA is made free of parabens, sulfates, PH balanced and only made with ethically sourced, natural, organic, food-grade ingredients and essential oils. 100% vegan, fair-trade, never tested on animals.
Our Community
Every trimester, AWARE by PRANA proudly donates 3% of its sales to local animal rescues. We are proud to host beach and town clean-ups, donate our time to various programs around our community with the same mind-set as ours.
Sustainability
At AWARE by PRANA proudly package our products in glass or aluminum, with the minimal use of plastic. Our labels are either biodegradable or made out of stone paper. We ship all of our products in previously used cardboard boxes and biodegradable peanuts. If you are a local, please save your packaging and take advantage of our refill program in our zero waste shop at a discounted rate. We plant trees globally through promotional sales.
