There is something magical that happens when we sync into the rhythm of nature with art. Returning us to the simplicity and wonder mama nature beautiful offerings. In September’s Craft Camp we honor the fall equinox & this time of reflection in longer nights, & change with falling leaves.

11am: We'll begin with (optional) yoga inside with Ashley Demuria.

This all levels flow will be gentle & slow, heart openers & longer stretches symbolic of us to let go of what no longer serves us in preparation to bring in a season of abundance. This class is for all levels of yoga ending in a meditation to help set our intention for mobile creating & this new crisp cozy season.

*If you would like to only attend the propagation mobile craft, please arrive at noon*

Noon: We'll then head over to the craft tables with Rachael Kinsey at noon to create a functioning propagation mobile with driftwood, flowers, feathers, shells, yarn, and glass propagation vessels to grow our favorite plants for seasons to come.

Not only will you learn how to create a nature infused mobile- you’ll learn how to make a new plant from a clipping from a Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) and learn about flowers that are good for drying and preserving to use in our mobiles and other crafts!

We'll also have a propagation clipping trade! Bring a clipping of your favorite plant from home to share with a new friend (pathos will be provided)

We will have an array of materials, however please bring some of your favorite items from nature to incorporate into your mobile.

 About Ashley:

Ashley DeMuria came into a deeper practice of yoga in 2017 after moving to Wilmington from Ohio & taking a break from the grit of marathon training. She earned her yoga teaching certificate during rather trying times in 2020 while husband was deployed, 2 daughters to raise, & a nursing career hitting challenges. This is when she learned the most important lesson of life thanks to yoga…it’s all about balance & grace not only for others but also ourselves. While new to teaching yoga she is a natural born healer & eager to share a compassionate, welcoming space for others.
